Neycho Popov - actor and movie director, born in Burgas on 13 july 1924.
Studying drama (his professor was Krustio Mirski) in 1953, and then directing specializes in the GDR from 1963 to 1965. 
He was one of the founders of the "State Theatre of Satire" and remained there from 1957 until his death. Plays in the theater, starred in movies and television. Also participated in radio and worked in "Humor, satire and fun" of Bulgarian National Radio. His stepdaughter Maria Grubeshlieva is issuing a collection of memories of him entitled "Clown of God, sent to earth." It is the third husband of Stoyanka Mutafova. He died only 49 years old.
